HASDEF Partners with Local Organizations to Restore Historical William Smith School Bell

The HASD Ed Foundation is partnering with the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Huntingdon County Historical Society, and the Huntingdon Area School District to restore the historical bell that hung atop the former William Smith School and install at Standing Stone Elementary in time to ring in America's July 4th semiquincentennial.

HASDEF is seeking to raise $5000 to restore the bell and have it mounted on a custom, ground-level display, designed and crafted by local artisan Dave Berger.
